What I Wore Wednesday: VOL 9 & 10

This week has been as hectic as an overcomplicated quiche recipe! I know I've been on an accidental hiatus and I'm so sorry! Last monday night (the 9th) our neighbour had an accident on her staircase and long story short my host mum and I had to look after her kids and dog while she was in the hospital. And then it was Erik's birthday and we went to paintball and I was shot in the head (potentially at a too close range, it's really hard to tell in the heat of the moment) and for some reason the pain stuck around for an extra long period of time. All in all the week was emotionally and physically draining and I couldn't will myself to be active online. We all have weeks/months/moments like that so I'm sure you all understand. But I'm back now and though still super stressed out about a few things I'm ready to get back into drawing and blogging and general positive activities! So let's go! 

I'm trying to sell my still decent/barely worn clothes at the moment to cut down on the tough choices I'll have to make when packing for home and to also make a little bit of money to go towards my ticket which I've put off buying since I'm torn about when to leave (on the one hand I kind of just want to get back to a "regular" life and on the other I don't want to leave the life I've got here. It's going to be tough but it's the kind of decision I can't keep putting off. I just need to suck it up and buy my ticket!
Somewhat counterproductively I've ended up with a few new items of clothing as well, since my friend Sarah is also getting rid of a bunch of her stuff and we've been trading items from our wardrobes. This cardigan is from her and I love it so much, I've been wearing it at home all week and will definitely be finding space for it somewhere in my suitcase (or on my body for the flight)

So yes, that's my life. If anyone has any tips on further lightening the load of my wardrobe or words of encouragement r.e. moving home please don't hesitate to let me hear them!
